Our Rowing Events

Our Rowing club has a great social side, always lots going on, and we also run various events throughout the year too – both on and off the water. We also run regular taster session, so why not come along and see what we can do for you today on the water!

Hire a dock hut

Down at the club house docks you will find individual huts to hire, these are hire on a monthly fee if your interested.

History

Cheswick Rowing Club is 98 years old and with a fleet of boats consisting of a range of modern fours, pairs, doubles and single sculls, all of which are raced in small and large regattas throughout the UK all year round.

Rowing Lessons

Here at CRC we give an introduction to the great sport of rowing. We provide a range of courses for new rowers to enjoy . Our professional coaching team will guide trainees on the water, teaching them the rowing technique during a well structured lesson. Why don't you drop us a line a find out more.

Here at the clubhouse we have a total of three rooms that can be hired individually for meetings, conferences orprivate dining. We also have the flexibility of hiring out the wonderful clubhouse out asan exclusive venue for all sorts of functions – catering for large or small banquets, drinks parties and weddings.

Car & Bike Services

We have a great selection of training facilities including a super weights gym, spinning bikes and a large Concept 2 rowing machine room, with 12 rowers.

Performance Rowing

A-B and C Teams

We have a competitive performance Section along with a core masters group that trains and races hard throughout the year some others row and scull mainly for fun and fitness!

Training and rowing can done at your own pace as an individual, or as a small group under the eye of one our lovely coaches.

If you looking to get into rowing simply bring fitness gear, trainers ECT thats it.

What if i have never rowed before

If you have never rowed before don’t worry, come for a taster session and have a lesson.

Do you have a Kids section?

Yes, we have a JNR section, this is perfect for getting into rowing.

Do you run a family membership?

Yes, we have various membership deals on offer, please ask.

Where are you located?

We are located just off the river in Cheswick Town.
